For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them. Matthew 18:20

We continue to live through unprecedented times, the guidelines recommended in our state continue to evolve almost daily and we thank you for your patience. While culture instructs us to keep our distance and isolate, those instructions don't have to conflict with us living into our core value of being relational. In fact, we see a great opportunity to be the church of Jesus.

We are rolling out a new style of worship, house churches. We are currently offering two styles of house churches, a virtual house church and an in-person house church. A virtual house church will provide an opportunity for community through the use of technology while an in-person house church will consist of groups of 10-15 people meeting together in homes. Both will provide a time for sharing, offering, a message from Pastor Bill delivered by video and a time for prayer.

Thank you for being the church through this crisis and for your grace as we work through this.

Everyone who signed up to participate has been assigned to a house church. If you didn't receive an email invitation, please contact Pastor Bill.

At 9:30 on Sunday mornings, members of virtual churches will head to your computer, tablet, or smartphone to log into your host's Zoom meeting room. Each virtual church house host has a unique meeting room link. You can click on the link to download Zoom and enter that host's meeting room. Each house will be unique but will follow the same order of worship. The sharing will take place on Zoom at the beginning of worship and the prayers will take place on Zoom at the end of worship. In between, you can give tithes and offering online and watch the message on your own device.

In-person house churches will also begin at 9:30 on Sunday mornings, but will instead gather at the host's house. Just like the virtual house churches, in-person house churches will have a time for sharing, watching the message and prayer but they will all be done together in community.

For instructions on downloading Zoom and logging in, please watch our help video.

Being relational is one of our core values and while current public health recommendations indicate otherwise, that doesn't mean we have to live in isolation. Technology has given us a platform that we can continue to build our relationships with one another. The beginning of our worship time is an opportunity for everyone to share their lives, encourage and support one another.

So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.

1 Thessalonians 5:11

God has already given us so much, every good gift we have is from Him. We don't give out of obligation, but as a joyous response to the work God is doing in each of our lives. We are all facing unique challenges right now and it's easy to overlook giving when we're not gathered for worship on Sunday mornings, so we've added two giving options so you can give anytime and anywhere. You can schedule a one time gift, or schedule recurring gifts, through online giving or text to give.

Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.

James 1:17

As a part of our home worship, we will continue to offer a message like you would expect for Sunday morning worship. Pastor Bill will be recording a video message for us to watch on the Grace 242 YouTube channel. While this video can be watched independently if you aren't able to take part in a home worship group, we encourage you to watch it as a part of a home church.

We believe in the power of prayer. This is a time during worship where you can share your prayer concerns with those in your home church group and you can lift up each others concerns to the Lord. In addition, we have started a prayer wall where anyone can add prayers or view the concerns of others to pray for throughout the week.

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
